AN OLD RABBI asked his pupils how they could tell when the night had ended & the day begin..?
One student answered - for the day break is the time of certain holy prayers..!
The rabbi replied - No, that's not it..!
Another student answered, - when you can see an animal in the distance & tell whether it is a sheep or a dog..!
"No", answered the rabbi..!
Different answers popped in to the rabbi question..
"It is when you can clearly see the lines on your own palm"..
"It is when you can look at a tree in the distance & tell if it is a fig tree or a pear tree"..
"No", answered the rabbi to those answers..!
"T.h.e.n, w.h.a.t i.s i.t" - t.h.e p.u.p.i.l.s d.e.m.a.n.d.e.d..
It is when you can look at the face of any man or woman & see that they are your sister & brother.. until then, it is still night..
Remember - The garden of thoughts is the sanctuary that dwells within us.. it is where we nourish & replenish the heart & soul with insightful & inspirational thoughts to guide us in our journey..
