You Can't Paint The World Green

WHEN OUR KNOWING exceeds our sensing.. we will no longer be deceived by the illusions of our senses..

Sometimes.. All it takes is a subtle shift in perspective & an opening of the mind, an intentional pause & reflect & reset, to start to see a new options & possibilities..

There once lived a wealthy man who was bothered by severe eye pain.. he consulted many physicians, but none could treat his ache.. He went through a myraid of treatment procedures but his pain persisted with more vigor..

He looked for every available solutions for his pain & approached a wise monk - who was actually renowned for treating various eye illnesses.. The monk carefully observed the man's eyes & offered a very peculiar solution..

The monk told the man to concentrate only on green color for a few weeks & avoid any other colors..

The man was desperate to get rid of the pain & was determined & ready to go to any extent..
The wealthy man now  appointed a group of painters & purchased barrels of green paint & directed that every object, his eyes was likely to fall on must be painted green..

After few weeks the monk came to visit the man in order to follow up on the man's progress.. to his surprise, the monk could see that the whole corridor & the room was painted green, infact the whole building had been painted green not excluding his garden, his personal cars & all other objects his eyes was likely to fall on..

As the monk inquired for the reason for painting everything green, the wealthy man said that he was only following the Monk's advice to look at only green..

Hearing this, the monk laughed & said..

"If only you had purchased a pair of green spectacles, worth just cheaper price, you could have saved a large share of your fortune instead of spending much on buying green paints.. You can't paint the world green"..

Moral of my story - Let us change our vision & the world will appear accordingly..

Remember - When our knowing exceeds our sensing.. we'll no longer be deceived by the illusions of our senses..
